Mercedes 170 S B-cab was originally designed and intended to come into production in 1942. WW2 inhibited the civil automobile manufacturing and it lasted until 1949 until it with some changes was produced up to 1951.
The basic chassis was used together with various bodyworks and 70.285 was produced altogether out of which 1.603 of the B-cab.

This car has been in our family since the 1950-ies and is undergoing restoration.
