Studebaker GW-7 Champion 1939
Studebaker GW-7 Champion 1939 came out from the South Bend production line as the car that actually saved, for the time being, the Studebaker company.
Designed to be one in the new generation of small cars, with lower weigth than others on the market.
Total Studebaker production exceeded 106.000 cars for the year of introduction of the Champion, 50% higher volume than for the previuos year 1938.
The car has been owned by me since 1968.
